Serving Ideas for Pineapple Ice Cream

If you want to enjoy your pineapple ice cream, you can’t go wrong with coconut macaroons. Their chewy texture and coconut flavor complement the tropical notes of pineapple ice cream.

Mango salsa is also a fantastic choice to pair up with a bowl of pineapple ice cream. A fresh, tangy salsa can add a zesty contrast to the creamy ice cream. For a crunchy, nutty contrast, you can have toasted almonds along with pineapple ice cream.

Didn’t like any of them? How about warm, crispy banana fritters to add a comforting sweetness? You will love it, don’t forget to try it. After that, a colorful mix of tropical fruits for added freshness with pineapple ice cream also can blow your mind off.

Chef’s Tips

  • You can substitute 2 cups of finely chopped fresh pineapple for canned pineapple, but I suggest cooking it a bit longer for around 10-15 minutes to soften and break down the fresh fruit.
  • Let the ice cream sit at room temperature for 10-20 minutes before serving to make scooping easier.
  • After adding the pineapple puree to the cream, mix just enough to combine without deflating the cream’s airy texture.

These tips will help you achieve a smooth, flavorful pineapple ice cream every time!
